LUCEE LOVES | URBAN DECAY

With the release of Urban Decay at Mecca stores across Australia last week I just had to do a Lucee Loves post on the brand! Urban Decay is a well known brand in the beauty world and until now it had been extremely hard to get your hands on in Australia. I am so excited that this brand is now stocked in Mecca and even more excited to see that the prices on these products are very comparable to the US prices (taking into consideration tax and exchange rates).

I am lucky enough to have a few Urban Decay products in my collection, but of course there is definitely room for some more. So here is my list of Lucee Loves - Urban Decay.

1. Naked Eyeshadow Palette | $78

This fact drives the OCD part of me crazy.... I own Naked 2 & Naked 3 but skipped Naked 1! I honestly cringe at that so try not to think about it. I got the 3 when it was released because I was so excited by the beautiful blush tones and then after falling in love with the amazing shadows I had to pick up a natural palette too. I went with the Naked 2 because I had heard a lot of people say that they preferred the 2 over the 1.

Part of me only wants the original Naked so that I can have a complete set but there is definitely a part of me that wants it for those gorgeous original colours. Especially Sidecar, Dark Horse, Toasted & Gun Metal. I absolutely love, love, love Naked 2 and 3 and have no doubt that I would feel the same about Naked.

2. Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Distortion | $30

While I am not usually a glitter person, this eyeliner looks amazing! It looks to be super pigmented and sure to stand out on anyone! It just looks like so much fun and I would love to play around with this product.

3. Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion | $30

Eyeshadow lasting all day is something that is extremely important to me. There is nothing more embarrassing than grossly creased eyeshadow. I seriously hate it! It makes you look so oily and just yuck. This is why I always use the NARS eyeshadow primer but am keen to try Urban Decays equivalent to compare the two.

4. 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in NAKED 2 | $30

While I would love to add every single one of the 24/7 Glide On-Lip pencils to my collection I would say 'Naked 2' is my most wanted. This looks like the perfect shade for me as it would be wearable with so many of my lipsticks. I could see myself wearing this with both nudes and pinks which both tend to be my go to lip.

5. Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body | $40

Woooahhhh! Can we just take a minute to appreciate the beauty of this product! The look of this product gets me so excited! It just looks so darn pretty!! I can't wait to load up a brush and smear this across my cheekbones! A gorgeous highlighter that needs to get in my makeup bag right now!

6. Perversion Mascara | $32

I love false lashes but I just never have time to apply them so I am always looking for a mascara that can take my natural lashes to the next level. I have read great things about this mascara and need to put it to the test!

7. De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray | $44

I do actually already have the all nighter setting spray and I definitely love it. I have found that using it does indeed help my makeup to stay on longer and that's why I am keen to try out the De-Slick Oil Control version. Having oily skin, anything that promises oil control always makes it onto my wishlist.

8. Super-Saturated Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner | $32

I really want to get back into using a gel / cream eyeliner and while the name of this product might be a mouthful it looks to be really easy to apply and looks to be the blackest of blacks which I LOVE in an eyeliner.

9. 24/7 Glide On-Eye Pencil in JUNKIE | $30

I've never been brave enough to use coloured liners but I have seen this stunning colour all over the internet and it makes want to try it out so much! It is such a stunning shade and sure to stand out on any eye!

10. Naked Basics 2 | $42

When the Naked Basics 2 was announced I wasn't the slightest bit interested. I thought it looked too similar to the Naked Basics 1 and I wouldn't get much use out of it. However, now that I have been using my Basics 1 everyday I do actually want to give the Basics 2 a try! #makeupjunkie

What's on your Urban Decay wishlist?

Hope you liked this post.
